We are seeking a Full-Time Project Manager to assist our creative teams in managing a wide variety of projects for our rapidly growing company. 


Based in Chicago, Miller Creative is a team of passionate creators who design, write, and animate cool stuff. We use video, immersive XR technology, and instructor/web-based technologies to transform our clients’ communication and learning. Through storytelling, we create interactive solutions that help our customers effectively engage audiences, train employees, and market their services. 


The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This position’s responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of a project, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring project progress. The Project Manager will provide progress summaries to the team and prepare reports on project status for upper management.   

The Project Manager will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and ensure the project is proceeding smoothly





  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Delegate project tasks based on team members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive project plans, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to share with our internal team and with clients
  • Track project progress and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques
  • Monitor budgets and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Report setbacks and escalate to management as needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and assist them in coordinating with internal teams and resources


  • Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Manage relationships with clients
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned



  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of project management experience required
  • Proven experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple disciplines
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with project management software tools such as Asana and Basecamp
  • Knowledge of instructional design processes and tools (Articulate/Captivate)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Travel as needed (depending on location and assigned projects) and occasionally internationally
